VLJs Pave The Way For Air Taxis

PDF
5/27/07 Dateline- Atlanta’s Hartsfield Airport Terminal B Gate 32

The orders roll in for Eclipse 500 dispelling rumors of any shortcomings in the plane or company. Read our exclusive interview with Vern Raburn and you will get a clear picture of how big this whole Very Light Jet and Air Taxi thing are going to get.

The first two questions I get to answer in interviews are “what about Eclipse" and “what about DayJet.” Are they the whole story of VLJs and Air Taxis? They never claimed to be. Vern Raburn and Ed Iacobucci press on while writing aviation history based on vast business experience. Today I believe their success together is the concrete for the foundation of our next air transportation system.

I have studied the industry for over five years and reported on it here at Very Light Jet Magazine for nearly two years. The growth in readership of our new Air Taxi page has greatly exceeded all projections.

I plan to use air taxis to get to work in my all too regular commercial airline commutes to my job as a pilot. This means that I have a vested interest in this subject. I feel much better now that I have shared this with you all. Look for expanded coverage of the Air Taxi biz right here.

Rest assured that our flagship Very Light Jet Magazine will continue to provide essential Daily VLJ News, Exclusive Interviews, Articles, and of course, this increasingly essential Captain’s Log.

My next VLJ reporting assignment is WATS where I am moderating a discussion on VLJ training. Looking forward to meeting you so be sure to say hello if you go.

Only two hours more to wait. I have considered writing a book on the subject of fun things to do at Hartsfield. Write to me if you think of any.

See you all on the road! Thanks for your faithful readership and kind comments This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
Best Regards-
