Very Light Jets Attract Huge Investment Interest:

There is considerable interest in investment opportunities in Very Light Jets from private and institutional investor firms and individuals.  Adam Aircraft is the latest Very Light Jet manufacturer to announce a successful round of funding.

Adam Founder and Chief Rick Adam says "This financing allows Adam Aircraft to aggressively pursue our product development and production growth plans. Our order backlog, valued at nearly $800 million, gives our investors and customers added confidence that Adam Aircraft will continue to extend its leadership in this industry."

Can VLJ IPOs be coming soon to a broker near us?

I moderated the VLJ session at the World Aviation Training Symposeum last week. Thanks to the participation of David Thompson; Adam Aircraft’s Dir. Of Pilot Training & Safety, Chuck Jordan, Director , Flight Ops Training for DayJet; and FAA’sTom Glista, my job was pretty easy. Next stop on the VLJ circuit for me is NBAA 2007 in Atlanta.

I have studied the industry for over five years and reported on it here at Very Light Jet Magazine for nearly two years. The growth in readership of our new Air Taxi page has greatly exceeded all projections. I have decided to drive 12 hours to New Orleans. It is easier than going through Atlanta! Air Taxis anyone?

Rest assured that our flagship Very Light Jet Magazine will continue to provide essential Daily VLJ News, Exclusive Interviews, Articles, and of course, this increasingly essential Captain’s Log.

See you all on the road! Thanks for your faithful readership and kind comments This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

Best Regards-
